About the Project
What's involved in converting casino space into a high-limit gaming room? Defining the space with new walls, opening fire-rated load-bearing walls for access, and matching materials, ceilings, and mechanical systems so the new room integrates invisibly with the existing casino.

This project converted an existing non-smoking dining area into a dedicated High Limit Slots Room, blending so completely into Cactus Pete's it feels as though it was always there. A new wall defined the exclusive gaming space without disrupting the casino's flow, and a new entrance required opening a load-bearing wall to a 2-hour fire rating — close coordination between structural engineering, fire protection, and architectural detailing. Material continuity, soffit alignment, and concealed HVAC integration kept every transition intentional and uninterrupted. The result is a refined, intimate high-limit environment seamlessly connected to the casino's design language.
