American Falls Reservoir District · Office & Boardroom
a 3,000-square-foot office and board-meeting facility for the American Falls Reservoir District in Idaho (2024), featuring a flexible staff layout, a dedicated boardroom, and a fire-resistant document vault for critical records.
About the Project
What makes a special-district or civic office different to design? — Balancing public-facing function (a formal boardroom), daily staff efficiency, secure long-term records storage (a fire-resistant vault), and tight public budgets in one durable, modest-footprint building.

This project created a fresh, contemporary workspace balancing functionality, security, and budget for a public special district. A flexible office layout supports daily staff operations with efficient circulation and natural light; a dedicated board meeting room hosts formal gatherings and presentations; and a fire-resistant document vault securely houses critical records and long-term archives. The team coordinated specialty consultants for vault construction and fire-resistance, maximized usability within a modest footprint, and held a clean, durable, cost-conscious material palette throughout — overseeing finish selections and contractor coordination so the final build reflected the design intent.
